History

Over the Years
1935 • Neighborhood Church started by a small group of people in a storefront in Oakland
1937 • Rev. Earl D. Sexauer (23 years old) left a rural church in Georgia to pastor the congregation of three elderly women and a Sunday school of 15.
1954 • Dr. Jacob M. Bellig becomes the new Senior Pastor
1996 • Dr. Larry Vold becomes the new Senior Pastor
2019 • Dr. Danny Strange becomes the new Senior Pastor
