Memorials

You may be assured that our staff is here to help you throughout this difficult time. There are many decisions to be made ... and we will help. The first step is to make contact with the funeral home of your choice. If you need a partial listing of those in our immediate area, a list can be provided.

If you choose to have the memorial/funeral service at 3Crosses, one of our pastors is required to officiate the entire service. All memorials/funerals present the hope found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ and a distinctively Christian message.

A single donation for the use of the facility and staff services is appropriate. Donations should be made out to 3Crosses and given to the church office or the pastoral officiant.

  • What Else Do I Need To Know?

Programs detailing the order of the service are usually provided by the funeral home. A family member may choose to design and provide a more personalized program.

The program may vary, depending on the family's wishes, with favorite hymns, songs or scripture incorporated into the service, but a typical memorial service includes the following elements: Welcome & Prayer, Scripture Reading, Song, Eulogy & Remembering, Song, Message of Hope, Prayer, Closing remarks, Dismissal.

Most commonly, a reception will be held in the family home following the service. Close friends are often asked to coordinate refreshments such as sandwiches, cake and coffee. In some cases, it is possible to hold the reception at the church facility if you are a member of 3Crosses; availability must be coordinated through the church office and pastor and verified by the facility management.
