3Crosses Online: Co-Ed (Anger Education)

When: Tuesday, Evening

Anger Education

A new Community Group Beginning Soon
Tuesdays | 6:00pm - 7:15pm

The Bible has much to say about anger. It gives examples of both righteous and unrighteous anger. For example, the book of Exodus portrays the Lords' anger burning against a stiff-necked people (Ex 32:9-10). This anger led to their destruction. The Lord's anger is always righteous. But is ours? How can one know the difference between demonstrating appropriate anger as opposed to anger that is inappropriate and destructive? For many of us, our anger stems from responding inappropriately to situations and internal conflict. This kind of anger is sinful and destructive. But how can we know how to possess the kind of anger that isn't sinful or personally destructive? What tools do we need to overcome the kind of anger that gets us in trouble and instead, bring glory to God?

The goal of this course is to equip anyone looking for the proper biblical principles to ensure their anger doesn't lead them to sin.

This education is not only for those who can identify with anger but also for those that are looking for ways to navigate through encounters with unjustifiably angry people.

Anger Management Institute Workbooks ($25) available in class. No childcare.

Care: Blended Families

When: Wednesday, Evening

Statistics report that divorce rates in Blended Families are between 60-80%. We understand that Blended Families often experience challenges. The sheer number of influences in the lives of each Blended Family member indicates that there are bound to be conflicts.

The Blended Families Ministry was designed to provide useful tools, support, and ultimately point people to THE ONE (Jesus Christ) who has all the answers.

Our hope is that the families we serve will not only SURVIVE, but THRIVE!

It has been said that "Blended Families don't have a family tree - they have a family forest!!"

Each person in the Blended Family is uniquely created AND there are many multifaceted relationships involved...step-parents, step-children, step-siblings, half-siblings, step-grandparents-aunts-uncles-cousins, biological parents, adoptive parents, foster parents, the list goes on. It's easy to see how life in a blended family can, at times, become complicated.

Since each person and each family is unique, the Blended Family Ministry at 3Crosses believes there are limited "cookie-cutter" answers for how to blend your family. However, in learning to listen to and follow Jesus through the challenges we face together we are confident that the Lord will be faithful to transform our lives, the lives of our children, and the lives of others around us.

We firmly believe Jesus at his promise when he said: "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." -John 14:26-27

Care: More Than Conquerors

When: Wednesday, Evening

More Than Conquerors

"He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."  Luke 4:18

Do you desire to regain sexual integrity and experience deep healing? At 3Crosses we believe that Jesus Christ came to bind up the broken hearted and set the captives free. We believe He has called us to fight for the freedom of men trapped in the shackles and chains of sexual bondage and for the spouses suffering in the wake of those so trapped.

While stopping the destructive behavior is essential, we believe that God's greater desire is to bring deep healing to the wounds that led us to act out in the first place so that deep and intimate relationships can grow with Him and with others.

There's hope and freedom from inappropriate sexual behavior. Join a diverse group of men who are facing this challenge with the Lord head on... and are winning!

Gathering: Women (Hearts Connected)

When: Wednesday, Morning

Hearts Connected Bible Study

Hearts Connected is a place of connection for women,
connecting to the truths in God's Word and relationally
with other women at 3Crosses.
It is a place of support where His love is evident
with care, love and encouragement.
All ages are welcome.

Starting April 21, 2021
Online Meeting  |  10:00am -11:30am

We will be doing a 7-week study entitled "Acts Odyssey: On the Trail of the Apostles" by Rene Schlaepfer. How did the Jesus movement grow from a few dozen frightened followers to a worldwide phenomenon in just a few decades - with no detailed strategy, no buildings, no budget and every obstacle imaginable? To seek the truth, Rene Schlaepfer sets out to retrace the journeys of the original apostles as told in the biblical Book of Acts. Ladies will need to purchase their own books ahead of time. We will meet as a large group and then break into smaller groups for discussion. At the conclusion of this study, we will break for the summer.

Facilitated by Kim Latona, Deana Green, Lea Ott & Pennie Savage

Gathering: Women (Wednesday Night Bible Study)

When: Wednesday, Evening

Wednesday Night Bible Study is starting March 10th, 2021
Online Meetings | 7pm - 9pm | Wednesdays

We are starting a new series entitled "Sermon On The Mount" by Jen Wilkin. What does it mean to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven? The Sermon on the Mount articulates what the life of a Christ follower should look like, asking us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak and act? We will examine the words of Jesus in depth as He challenges us to think differently about repentance, salvation and sanctification.

Please join Diane Dorn in this Wednesday Night Bible Study Zoom Meeting here: Click Here**
