Tell us about yourself:
I attended the "Hy Wy" High School group at the "old" Neighborhood Church in Oakland when I was growing up and gave my heart to Jesus when I was 15. My husband Bob and I have lived in Castro Valley for 10 years. We have three children and three grandchildren. I love working in the Adult Ministries of N.C. and interacting with people. I have participated in the Christmas and Easter performances for many years and am a member of the choir.
What do you do as Adult Ministries Admin Assistant?
I work in promotion and registration for the Life Development Seminars. I provide general office support and work with the Basketball Camp outreaches.
What is the best part of your job?
Seeing people go from being a visitor at Neighborhood Church to becoming part of our community.
What do you think you would be doing right now if God had not called you to be in ministry?
Teaching a class somewhere.
What do you order at Starbucks?
A carmel frappuchino in summer and a peppermint mocha in winter.
What do you collect?
Roosters
If you could be doing anything right now, what would it be?
Working in my garden.
If you had a million dollars to spend today, what would you buy?
Let me think about that...
If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?
To put an end to all the violence and hatred in the world.
What talent do you wish you had?
A beautiful singing voice.
What food do you absolutely love? What food do you hate?
I love Italian food. I hate sushi.
