NYT Administrator

Penny Lapum has been working at Neighborhood for 6 years (since September 2001). Penny currently serves as the NYT Administrator, in the Worship and Arts Department.

Tell us about yourself:

I have been married for 26 years. I have two children, Chad 23, Mandy 19. I started working with children when my kids were at Chabot Elementary and I ran the Library and made costumes for the annual spring play.

What do you do as NYT Administrator?

I help Faith Blevins run NYT. I organize all the behind the scenes administrations, like tickets, emails, phone calls, treats, data input. I also have costumed many of the plays that we do.

What is the best part of your job?

Working with people that have the same beliefs that I do and laughing every day.

What do you think you would be doing right now if God had not called you to be in ministry?

Working for Doe's Bows.

What do you order at Starbucks?

Caramel Frap.

If you could be doing anything right now, what would it be?

Sitting in a Cabanna at a nice hotel and being waited on!

New house.

Being able to draw.
