Tell us about yourself:

I am married to Steve, a fun person who makes me laugh a lot. What makes us the happiest is spending time with our children and grandchildren, Danica, Jax and Henry!

We chose Neighborhood Church when our oldest son, Joe was in Jr. High. We were looking for a church with a great Student Ministry department. We are pleased to say that our son Joe and his brothers Steve and John all have had great experiences growing up at Neighborhood Church and each has met here the beautiful and godly woman they will spend their lives with. One of the things my husband, Steve and I have done together is serve as volunteers in Children's Ministry (1989) and then Student Ministries over the past number of years. We've had a lot of fun with our church family over the years and love our small group and others we've known through volunteering.

What do you do as Music and Arts Admin?

I began working at NC in 1995 as an admin for Student Ministries, then General Church and Adult Ministries and then Music and Art ministries in 2003. I enjoy the diversity of tasks, challenges and the new things I've learned with each.

I am involved in a variety of projects such as contacting and coordinating with volunteers, creating or coordinating graphic art, updating web pages, promoting events.

What is the best part of your job?

The best part of my job are the wonderful people; staff and volunteers I serve alongside every day. I am priviledged to see God's hand at work in the lives of people He chooses to touch through Worship, Music and Art and Youth Theater programs at Neighborhood.

What do you think you would be doing right now if God had not called you to be in ministry?

I think to know Christ is to be called into ministry. I don't want to think about what life would be like if I didn't know Christ.

What do you order at Starbucks?

Oh, did you mean Valley Java on Stanton? Usually an Americano.

What do you collect?

If you could be doing anything right now, what would it be?

Movie: "So, I Married An Axe Murderer" (1993)

If you had a million dollars to spend today, what would you buy?

In theory, I'd spend it on children who are hungry and suffering. Now, ask me how much $ I've spent on coffees recently. Doesn't add up I'm ashamed to say.

If you could change one thing about the world, what would it be?

That each and every one of God's creation would realize His great love for us and our brothers and sisters and live out our lives as though we do.

What talent do you wish you had?

Singing!

What food do you absolutely love? What food do you hate?

Love: Chocolate chip cookies fresh out of the oven
Hate: Cantaloup
