I grew up learning about Jesus through my parents and the evangelical church we all attended every Sunday. I remember praying to receive Christ as a young boy. My life was transformed as a sophomore in high school when the church we attended hired a youth pastor who modeled what it meant to follow Jesus to my age demographic. I soon found myself reaching out to friends at school, sharing my faith in ways that seemed to make sense--and inviting them to our outreach (known as Campus After Dark). I witnessed many of my friends choosing to follow Jesus. Through these formational years of my life as a follower of Jesus, I experienced the power of God to help me in both simple and profound ways--in both the good times and the challenges that come. I'm still living the adventure of following Jesus every day and welcoming His grace in my life.
