Maria Martinez

Maria Martinez has been working at Neighborhood for 5 years (since July 2002). Maria currently serves as the LTS Advisor Administrator, in the Ministry Development Department.

Tell us about yourself:

I am the youngest in a family of six brothers and sisters. I grew up in the Bay Area all my life. I attended local colleges with a focus in Administration and Counseling. I am surrounded by a loving family and great friends.

What do you do as LTS Advisor Administrator?

I do the administrative work for our 301 & 401 Life Transformation Seminar (LTS) Advisors. I am a 301 Advisor. I also work with our Seminar statistics and our information systems and procedures.

What is the best part of your job?

I have the great opportunity of meeting our members one-on-one through our 301 Advising process. I am excited to see our church members getting connected and serving in ministries they are gifted to serve in and really enjoy. This is great!

What do you order at Starbucks?

I order a White Chocolate Mocha or a Caramel Macchiato. YUM!

What do you collect?

I enjoy collecting teacups, nicknacks, and cute dishware I come across while I am antique shopping. It's fun!

What talent do you wish you had?

I would love to be able to play an instrument, like a violin or a flute, in an orchestra. I can play the piano, but I am very rusty at it.
