Our purpose is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for single parents which fosters healing, promotes personal, emotional and spiritual growth & maturity, equips in Biblical parenting, while faithfully looking to the Cross to ultimately experience Life Transformation Through Following Christ.
Ecclesiastes 3 tells us, "There is a time for everything and a season for every activity under heaven and God makes everything beautiful in its time."
Whatever circumstances led us here, we must believe that God has a plan and purpose for us in our season of singleness and single parenting.
In our season of singleness and single parenting, we have needs and we should not go it alone...
We need "hope" and this can be found, first and foremost, in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ and in community with those who understand the joys, the pains, the challenges, the struggles, and the victories of single parenting.
We need "help" from God and others, in healthy, Christ-centered relationships... not alone or in isolation, but from the outside.
We need "healing" as many single parents do not experience freedom, peace, or joy due to unhealed pain from the past and/or unforgiveness rooted in their hearts.
We stand on the Word of God, the Bible, and biblically-based resources to equip us as followers of Christ, as single adults, as single parents, and as spiritual leaders in our home. This will challenge us to deeper levels of faith and trust in Jesus Christ and will empower and enable us to meet the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of our children... they need this from us to feel loved and secure in an uncertain world no matter what their age or stage.
"So, if the son has set you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36)
By accepting Jesus Christ's gift of grace, by virtue of HIS sacrifice for us, and believing the pains of our past have been nailed to the Cross—we can experience freedom in Christ. Jesus Christ dwells within us and will help us through the process of healing and forgiveness by the power-filled presence of the Holy Spirit.
It is our heart, our hope, and our prayer that every single parent experiences HIS redemptive, healing power and presence in their life. We believe that the healed, healthy, and whole single parent in Christ can live an intentional, purposeful, effective, and victorious life!
So come, get wisdom, get encouraged, and get strengthened!
