Single Parents Ministry

Our purpose is to provide support to single parents in need or just seeking a place to connect, relate, and belong... in a friendly, safe and nurturing environment.  Ultimately, to experience life transformation through following Christ.

If you are a single parent, this is the place for you... you should not go it alone. We need God's help and others in relationship… healthy, Christ-centered relationships. We need our fill so that we can be all that God intended and able to meet the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of our children. They need this from us to feel loved and secure... no matter what their age or stage.

¨ As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.  Proverbs 27:17
¨ By helping each other with your troubles, you truly obey the law of Christ.  Galatians 6:2

So come, get wisdom, get encouraged, get strengthened, and get in fellowship with those who understand the joys, challenges and struggles of single parenting.  Come and experience healing, transformation and spiritual growth in a group setting… not alone, not in isolation and not withdrawn, but from the outside... it comes from what we don’t possess on the inside.

¨ By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.  Proverbs 24:3-4

The Bible is our authority and we also use biblically-based tools & resources to help equip us in our parenting, challenge us to deeper levels of faith and in our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Our hope is to become the model of godly leadership in the home, able to build a strong spiritual foundation, and able to...

¨ Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.  Proverbs 22:6

And, as we partner with God, able to stand in the gap, in prayer, for our children...

¨ Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children… Lamentations 2:19

We meet at Neighborhood Church:
Saturday nights, 5:00 - 7:00pm
Adult Center, Room D-2

Kids Hangout:
Childcare is provided in Room C5.  Your kids will enjoy fellowship, movies, games, activities, and snacks.
