Neighborhood Youth Theater (2-8)

Neighborhood Youth Theater is a great place for kids to be introduced to the theater arts. Do you like to dance, act, sing or improvise? This is the place to be whether you are experienced or just want to try it, even for the very first time!

NYT provides the best in theater arts training, specifically for grades 2-young adult. In addition to our incredible facility, our NYT instructors are skilled in the arts; dance, acting, vocal, art and stage performance. Each one shares their love of the arts with their NYT students in an atmosphere of fun. Come to exercise your imagination, learn new skills and meet new friends!

NYT for grades 2 through 8 is offered in two sessions beginning in February and September plus a one week Performing Arts Camp each August.

NYT produces classic full-stage musicals such as Disney's Aristocats, Kids, and Seusscal, Jr.

NYT CAMP for GRADES K-1 "HOT SUMMER FUN!"
Camp will be held Monday-Friday, 8:30 - 11:30am. Meet in room D3. Performance for parents, grandparents & friends on Friday from 12-12:30pm. Cost: $100 (includes camp shirt).

NYT CAMP for GRADES 2-5 and 6-9
Camp will be held Monday-Thursday, 8:30am - 3:30pm and all day on Friday beginning at 8:30am and concluding with a performance for parents, grandparents & friends from 7:00-8:30pm. Bring a sack lunch daily, snacks provided.

Camp includes two class electives in addition to the musical production. (Dinner will be provided for students prior to the performance on Friday evening.)
Cost: $250 (includes camp shirt and dinner on Friday).

2-5 grade musical production:
"JAILHOUSE ROCK, Shake, Rattle and Roll!"

6-9 grade musical production:
"BEST OF BROADWAY!"

In addition to the musical production you will choose one A and one B elective from the those offered to your age group.
