CrossStreets
CrossStreets Homeless Ministry
CrossStreets will give you the opportunity to serve and
share Christ's love with the poor, the homeless and the
afflicted. It's a very powerful ministry in a very friendly
and casual setting.
We bring food, clothing and friendship. Like Jesus, our goal is to meet the physical needs, which opens the door to meet the spiritual needs. We share our lives, our faith, build friendships, pray, and love and encourage them to take the step of faith into a relationship with Jesus Christ. As we serve, the open hearts and joy expressed is a blessing you will never forget.

CrossStreets Ministry Opportunities:
- CrossStreets @ Midnight (normally on the First and Third Friday Nights)
Meet in Room A2 by 8:00 PM. We travel in a caravan to
numerous locations between San Leandro and downtown
Oakland to bring the light of God's love into the
darkness of the night. We serve 75 meals and bring
prayer, hope and encouragement to people living on
the streets. Jackets, sweaters, pants, socks,
blankets and whatever we have are offered to those
in need. Spanish speakers are always needed. Dress
warmly and bring a flashlight and shoes suitable for
walking off-road. The return time to Castro Valley is
about 1:30 AM.
Contact Tom Green at (510) 917-4620 or tom@crossstreets.org, or Craig Woodworth at (510) 909-0426, or Jon Marshall at (510) 821-0654, to verify the schedule. - CrossStreets @ Daybreak (every Saturday morning)
Meet Saturdays at 7:30 AM at Neighborhood Church in
Room A2. Prepare food and supplies to take to the
Hayward Library, where we meet with 50-60 of our
friends on the street. At the library, we gather to
pray, read a scripture, and sometimes give a very
brief message. Next, we distribute food and clothing.

pray with those who have come to be fed.
ome by 7:30 AM and spend an hour making a positive
